This is a very complete 1948
Chevrolet Fire truck. Has a 6 cyl with 4 speed and would run with some
work. Vin is 2103054895 and has a title. The siren and light are said to
still work. |

Very good sheet metal
on the unit, no real damage to the fenders, light buckets in good
condition as is the hood. 20" tires on Bud snap lock wheels. |

The back sheet metal
looks good and solid, wood floor will need replacement. Some of the
hoses and hose reel are there. |

no rust is indicated on the unit. Good bumper and glass. These units
spent most of their life inside. |

rear fenders look good and solid. Just think of chrome or stainless
plate all around a unit like this! |

The interior is very
complete and in good condition as noted by the door panels. Solid floors
and complete gauges, do not know how well they work. |

The standard Chevy 6
cylinder of the time, was running when parked and should be easy to get
running again. 4 speed transmission to get the unit moving. |

better idea of how the back is cut for the tank and the rear of the

The empty area is
where the water tank was mounted. Thought about boxing it in for
passengers to ride in or possibly shorten the truck up. Tank is not
available. |

solid and no rust issues noted, running boards are firm and some of the
tool boxes are still there. |
