1948 Chevrolet Truck
Dano, from Hawaii wanted a truck to use for his youth
projects on the islands. He contacted us and we had this 1948 unit that ran and
drove just great. We did some minor engine and tune-up work to the original 218
6 cylinder, installed a two speed axle for him to provide some hill climbing,
repainted the cab and upgraded the wiring. The truck is complete with a hoist
and wood box.

Dano wanted
the truck repainted so some minor body work was done. It was a quick job so
minor disassemble was done. |

Minor work on
the hood, this was an old farm truck but had been repainted once before long
ago. |

Bucket seats
had been installed previously and the gauges all worked. The switch on top
of the shifter is for the two speed axle we installed with an eclectic over
air control. The lower switch is for backup alarm and lights. |

A rear shot
shows new lights, flaps and the rear axle we installed. The wood box was
with the truck and in great shape. |

This is the
freshly painted truck ready to be shipped to Hawaii.
That’s a
Lincoln convertible along side the truck that went to Virginia. |
